Mark
is has been teaching theatre for sixteen years. He has garnered numerous awards both as an actor and director. Mark has twice
won the coveted Musical Theatre Division of the National Association of Teachers of Singing. His plays
and musicals have been recognized throughout the state and the greater Houston area - taking home a Tommy Tune Award in 2006.
Colette Currie

Colette, in her first
year of teaching, is no stranger to the theatre. She has been on stage since an early age and has studied in London
and New York.
David Barker
Technical Director,

Technical Director David Barker is beginning
his 7th year in educational theatre, all of which has been spent building the highly acclaimed technical theatre programs
at CCISD. A regular presenter at regional theatre festivals, Mr. Barker has been asked to coordinate technical
efforts behind the scenes at the Texas Educational Theatre Conference in 2007 and again in 2009. He is
considered the technical theatre guru for CCISD, and is often asked to prepare workshops and training sessions for other teachers
throughout the district. He also served for 6 years as the technical director for the Clear Brook Jr. High
One-Act-Play festival. Mr. Barker and his students regularly help out community and professional theatre
throughout the area, and he is working on his points to join the local technical theatre union. Mr. Barker
holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Baylor University, and Masters of Arts in Theatre from the University on Houston.
He is excited to be working at Clear Springs and is ready for the new challenges that are heading his way.
